Don King has come under fire for dropping the N-bomb. On Wednesday, the legendary boxing promoter introduced Donald Trump at a meeting of black pastors in Ohio (at New Spirit Revival Center), when he accidentally said the word n*gga. The mishap was awkward to say the least, with the Republican presidential nominee a few feet behind him. King was attempting to recall conversations that he had in the past, with black celebrities. He told the audience,

I told Michael Jackson, I said, if you are poor, you are a poor Negro — I would use the N-word — if you are rich, you are a rich Negro.

The mishap happened when he continued,

If you are a talented intellectual, you are an intellectual Negro. If you are a dancing and sliding and gliding n*gga, I mean Negro.
