Scottie Pippen & Wife In Domestic Disturbances Before Divorce
Prior to announcing their split, Scottie and Larsa Pippen had police called to their home over a domestic disturbance incident, according to a new report. Reportedly, police had been called two times – recently – to their Ft. Lauderdale home. Larsa allegedly said things didn’t get physical, but they had been involved in a ‘heated verbal argument’. One incident happened on October 4th and the other on October 18th. Reportedly, neither Scottie nor Larsa never were arrested over the domestic disturbances.
As previously reported, this week, the former NBA player filed for divorce.
The couple have a prenup and Scottie has agreed to pay child support for the four children that they share, according to a report.
Larsa’s, who starred on BRAVO’s Real Housewives of Miami, rep released the following statement about their split:
After careful consideration and 19 years together, Larsa and Scottie have each filed for dissolution of their marriage. Although they are no longer to be married, Larsa remains hopeful that she and Scottie will always do what is best for their 4 beautiful children and jointly raise them with love and respect. She would like to thank everyone for their understanding and kindly ask for privacy from the media during this difficult time of transition for her family.
Scottie has been married twice; once to Karen McCollum (married 1988, divorced 1990) with whom he has a son, Antron Pippen (born 1987), and to Larsa, whom he married in 1997.
Larsa and Scottie have four children: Sophia Pippen, Justin Pippen, Preston Pippen, and Scottie Pippen, Jr. Scottie also has a daughter, Sierra Pippen, with his former fiancée Yvette De Leon and a daughter, Taylor Pippen, with former girlfriend and model Sonya Roby.
Larsa, who is close friends with Kim Kardashian and the Kardashian – Jenner family has yet to comment on social media.
