Mama Joyce Says Phaedra Parks Should Be In Jail

Mama Joyce thinks Phaedra Parks belongs behind bars. On a recent episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kandi Burruss’ outspoken mother explains that Phaedra should be incarcerated with her ex husband, Apollo Nida. As you know, in 2014, Apollo reported to prison to start an eight-year federal sentence for a fraud conviction. He pleaded guilty to charges in a fraud scheme that federal prosecutors say stole millions of dollars from at least 50 people over four years. Joyce hints that Phaedra was aware of Apollo’s illegal activities. She says,

I don’t think they know the depths to where Phaedra will go. I feel like she need to be sharing that cell with Apollo. She need to be his roommate.

She continues,

You see him leaving every day with a briefcase, but you don’t know where — you can’t call him at this office? Hello!

Phaedra responded to Mama Joyce’s comments, saying:

I am never surprised when attention seeking people say and do things to get attention, because it’s what they do and it is expected. It is unfortunate that she is still searching for significance this late in her life, rather than focusing on the afterlife. Bless her heart.
