Jamie Foxx Speaks Out After Fight
All is well with Jamie Foxx, after the actor and comedian was involved in an alleged fight over the weekend. The 49-year-old jokingly posted a video on social media proving that all is well after things went left at LA’s Catch Restaurant. See the clip.
On Saturday night, Jamie and friends were dining in one of LA’s newest restaurants when they were allegedly approached by another patron and things turned violent. According to a report,
Witnesses say that a man approached Jamie’s table where he was sitting with fellow actor Tyrin Turner, his barber Conrad Hilton and other friends on the restaurant’s famed patio and asked them to be quiet. Words were exchanged and the unknown patron allegedly said, ‘You don’t want to mess with me. I’m from New York.’
The witness then said that a comedian having dinner with Jamie shouted back, ‘F*** you I’m from Oakland.’ The man then allegedly lunged at the actor and things turned physical, a witness told the website.
Outlets report that the man grabbed the Oscar winner and Jamie put the man in a headlock, a source says however, that Jamie did not make contact with the man. A witness says that the star did not respond to the man but the star’s entourage stepped in when the other patron ‘got in Jamie’s face’.
Check out a clip of the brawl.
Great to see that things didn’t escalate.
