Here’s the latest: Recently, Darshelle Jones filed docs demanding the court suppress any and all evidence prosecutors obtained illegally, including any confessions she may have gave to officers or prosecutors and any physical evidence. She explains they have not shared their evidence with her despite requests.
She is also demanding the State hand over a list of their witnesses on who they will call to the stand, including whether or not Usher will be testifying in court.
Here’s the backstory: Darshelle Jones, the alleged stalker, has caused trouble for the singer for years. She was recently arrested in Atlanta after showing up to a record studio where he was recording.
The woman was allegedly across the street trying to record him with an iPad, which was a violation of a previous restraining order the singer was granted.
Darshelle has been hit with numerous restraining orders over the years and has been ordered to stay 100+ feet away from Usher and his family. She was booked for aggravated stalking and is facing up to 10 years in jail. Darshelle was awaiting her trial which was set for October 10th, when the judge came back and ordered Darshelle not competent to stand trial at the time. He ordered more tests to be done to see if she would be able to at a later time.
