Isaiah Washington Isn’t A Fan Of Women Wearing Weaves: Is it worth it?
Isaiah Washington Is Anti-Weave
Isaiah Washington isn’t necessarily a fan of extensions. This week, the 54-year-old actor posed a question about women who opt to wear weaves. He tweeted,
For my Queens that are being ‘shamed’ for wearing weaves. I love you. I really do, but ask yourself. “Is it worth it emotionally?
When asked by someone on social media if everyone should be able to wear what other hair style they prefer, he responded,
Yes, as long as there are no consequences that forces you to defend your choice for most of your adulthood. Life is complicated enough.
Do you agree or disagree with Washington’s point of view on women who wear weaves?

What an ass. Also, a big contradiction. You agree that people should be free to do as they please as long as they don’t have to defend their choices. We live in a world where everyone has an opinion about everything so how would that be possible? People wear dreds or natural afros and still have to defend their position about wearing their hair the way it grows naturally. Some people wear weaves or go bald and still have to defend their choices. Just say you don’t like weaves and stop fronting like you’re nonjudgemental. Truthfully, he don’t even like black women so why deflect to their hair? He’s so simple.
For one, I will forever do what I want to my body. It’s not his business, but it’s just what it always is – his TWO cents… He should use his platform for something that is his business… #MYTwoCents
You would think with his track record he would keep his opinions to himself but, I see he still hasn’t learned to keep his mouth shut.
