Courtney B. Vance To Star FX Pilot ‘Compliance’
Courtney B. Vance has snagged a new FX pilot called, Compliance. He has been cast in the lead role, along with Mary-Louise Parker.
The series is described as a half-hour comedy centered around a private equity manager (Vance) and his government-appointed compliance monitor (Parker).
Sarah Burgess will write and executive produce. Parker is best known for starring in the Showtime series “Weeds”. Vance is most recently known for his portrayal of Johnnie Chochran in FX limited series “The People v. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story”. He also co-starred in HBO’s adaptation of “The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks.”
