Columbus Short’s Wife Denies He’s Going To Jail For Hitting Her
Columbus Short will be spending more time behind bars. According to reports, the 35-year-old actor, who most recently starred in True To the Game, is going to jail after pleading no contest to hitting his current wife, Aida Abramyan.
Last November, he was arrested for allegedly hitting Aida during an argument.
He was ordered domestic violence education and 36 months probation. However, he was already on probation for an altercation that he had in 2014 where he was involved in a bar fight that knocked a man unconscious. The situation resulted in him being sent to jail. Columbus’ wife, Aida, denies these reports stating,
The media needs to check their facts. Columbus and I have a great marriage. Period. The media is ridiculous for posting this bs. I love my hubby and will continue to support him.
Short, who also starred in ‘Scandal’, has openly discussed his issues with substance abuse, including alcoholism and cocaine. Short has yet to comment about his latest controversy.
