Colin Kaepernick – Seahawks Postpone Visit After NFL’er Won’t Say If He’ll Stop Kneeling During Anthem
According to reports, the Seahawks postponed Colin Kaepernick’s work out, after he declined to say he would stop kneeling during the national anthem next season. A source says, that the Seahawks still are considering bringing in Kaepernick for a tryout, and no decisions are final. A source tells ESPN that the organization contacted Kaepernick about two weeks ago to arrange a visit to the team’s headquarters, but after tentative arrangements were made and travel was planned, the trip was unexpectedly scuttled over the Seahawks’ last-minute stipulation regarding Kaepernick’s anthem stance.
The source said the Seahawks wanted to know that Kaepernick wouldn’t kneel this season, and he was unwilling to give that assurance to them.
This comes at a time in which the Cincinnati Bengals visited with San Francisco 49ers free-agent safety Eric Reid, who knelt with Kaepernick during the anthem, and wanted assurances from Reid that he would not participate in on-field activism.
No NFL team has worked out Kaepernick since he became a free agent after the 2016 season. The Seahawks visited with him a year ago and considered it again this week, and the Baltimore Ravens entertained the idea of bringing in Kaepernick last summer.

It’s such a stupid reason not to work with him, especially when what he is standing up for is happening everyday. He puts meaning to the saying “Stand for something or fall for anything”
Exactly!
So those who are STILL against him kneeling, it says more about their character than his! What he’s kneeling for is still very prevalent and running rampant!
He should stop kneeling and before people want to cuss me out and say what the hell hear me out. him kneeling is considered a disruption by the NFL and its advertisers. These advertisers and owners claim they are all about what’s best for the people and they are liberal minded but they are not. if you sit down and really think about it the most so called liberal minded individuals are quick not to listen, quick not to understand and its either their way or the highway; compromise is not an option. If Karpernick wanted to make a change he should have used his fame and fortune during the off season to make a statement. He could hire lobbyist and get time on capital hill to speak about the injustices that are experienced. However now, he is out of work and its been two years. They gave Johnny Menzal a second chance but not Colin? How can you speak against the system when the system can cut you out and then you have no platform to speak out about it. He should not kneel and just get back on the field and play; then during his off season then do this.
Just because he is not playing football does not mean he is out of work.
