Lark Voorhies Makes Appearance At ‘Saved By The Bell’ Pop Up Diner
Actress Lark Voorhies was definitely all smiles over the weekend. The 44-year-old actress who is best known for a her role as Lisa Turtle on the hit 80’s sitcom Saved By The Bell, was spotted at a pop-up diner inspired by the series.
Located in West Hollywood, Saved By The Max is a recreation of The Max, which was a popular after school hangout on the show. On their official Instagram page, they shared pics of Voorhies visiting the restaurant with the caption,
Preppies!!! Lisa Turtle aka @reallarkvoorhies made a special stop in tonight! Yes, The Sprain was in full effect! Amazing experience!
Fans were so excited to see her. The photos caused some excited and warm commentary between followers. One follower said,

In May 2012, Voorhies did an interview with Yahoo!’s The Yo Show, in which she looked barely recognizable. Fans and the media speculated that the actress was suffering from lupus. According to reports, she was battling bipolar disorder which is a condition where a person goes back and forth between periods of a very good or irritable mood and depression. The “mood swings” between mania and depression can be very quick. Her mother talked about her daughter’s bipolar disorder stating,
There are things that have traumatized her. I care deeply about my daughter and I want her to resume her life.
During her an interview she denied her mother’s statements. When asked if she was bipolar she responded,
Oh no.We’re alive in a major time of all-in-all prophecy.
She looks great and glad to see she is doing a lot better.
