Andy Cohen & Charlamagne Blame Wendy Williams’ Husband Over Fall-Out
Bravo host Andy Cohen and The Breakfast Club radio personality Charlamagne the God have more in common than their profession. They both have had tension with daytime talk show host, Wendy Williams. During a recent sit down on Watch What Happens Live, Andy and Charlamagne openly discussed the break down in their relationships with the talk show host. A live caller asked Charlamagne:
Did you reach out to Wendy Williams after her recent health scare?
Charlamagne immediately responded:
No, not at all…I haven’t spoken to Wendy in, like, eight, nine years. I don’t speak to her or her husband at all. I don’t think they’re too fond of me.
Andy asked him:
Was there one thing that happened?
Charlamagne the God responded:
Um, yeah. Her husband. He was the one thing.
Andy then revealed he had a similar experience:
I think that may be the one thing that happened with she and I, too.
Charlamagne confirmed:
Usually when you see her having a falling out with somebody, the one denominator is her husband.
Charlamagne has never been mum about his issues with Wendy’s husband and manager, Kevin Hunter. He wrote in his book, “Black Privilege:”
One thing I learned to do from watching her was to treat the people who work for you poorly. Wendy and Kev could be very cruel to the people who worked under them.
