Mac Miller Reportedly Worth $9 Million Prior To Untimely Death
Mac Miller, real name Malcolm McCormick, was found dead in his home on Friday after authorities say he went into cardiac arrest after suffering an apparent overdose. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office has not released an official cause of death and will not do so until the toxicology results come back — which could take months. However, as fans await the results, they’ve decided to gather to remember the 26-year-old’s life.
This week, fans took to Mac Miller’s childhood hangout, the Blue Slide playground at Frick Park in Pittsburgh to pay tribute to the rapper. Nightfall Records hosted the vigil which was attended by thousands of fans. Mac Miller’s grandmother spoke at the vigil, letting fans know that Mac loved them very much.

Upon his passing, celebritynetworth.com reveals that Mac Miller was worth $9 million. Miller released his debut album Blue Slide Park independently with Rostrom Records in 2011. The release became the first independently-distributed album to top the Billboard 200 chart. As the album was independent, iTunes only took 25% of his earnings.
After leaving Rostrom in 2014, Mac Miller signed a $10 million deal with Warner Bros. Records.
