Sheck Wes Responds To Abuse Claims, Justine Skye Uploads Footage
In the era of “Me Too” and “Surviving R. Kelly,” allegations of domestic violence can be devastating to the careers of people in the public eye. Perhaps, for that reason, RocNation singer, Justine Skye, chose to keep her ex-boyfriend’s identity concealed while promoting her domestic violence awareness single, “Build.”
Since then, Justine revealed that she and her new man – rapper Gold Link, were allegedly attacked in Los Angeles this weekend, and in, turn, revealed her alleged abuser – rapper/model Sheck Wes.
She tweeted:
Sheck has since denied all claims of abuse, including the most recent attack Justine tweeted about. He said:
“I’ve chosen to remain silent until now out of respect for actual victims of abuse. But I cannot stand by while lies are repeatedly told about me.”
He continued:
“I never hit or beat any women and I did not beat up or jump anybody.”
However, Justine has receipts. She responded to her ex’s denial with surveillance footage of Sheck Wes jumping her fence. She tweeted:
“I literally have footage of you jumping over the fence of my crib to attack me Sheck…your lies are even more disrespectful…Are you going to lie and say this is not you too?”
She continued, posting proof of a text message thread with one of his friends with the following caption:
“All your friends know what happened”
Justine Skye first opened up about her alleged abusive relationship last year on Power 105.1’s “Breakfast Club” morning show.
