Tekashi 6ix9ine Plans To Get Out Of Jail Before September Trial Begins
As he’s currently imprisoned and facing 47 years to life after pleading guilty to nine counts of drug, gun and racketeering charges, rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine and his legal team have apparently come up with a way to hopefully grant him release from prison just before his September trial date.
According to reports, Tekashi 6ix9ine and his attorneys have devised what they consider a sure-fire plan to ensure that he is granted early release from prison, where he has been since November 2018. The plan interestingly involves the remaining defendants, who 6ix9ine snitched on, who are also scheduled for a September trial date. 6ix9ine and his attorneys are hoping that the other defendants take plea deals, especially considering the mountain of evidence against them, so there would be no reason for a trial at all.

Dawn Florio, 6ix9ine’s attorney, said that if the other defendants agree to the plea deals, resulting in the trial being called off, she will move forward with asking the judge to grant 6ix9ine for time served. If the judge grants the request, he would get out of jail because he would have fulfilled his obligations under his cooperation agreement with authorities in the case.
Currently, only one of the other defendants has filed a motion to have the charges against him dismissed, however Florio is optimistic that a plea deal could happen at any time, which would free Tekashi 6ix9ine from prison.
