Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Welcome Baby Boy!

What a beautiful day for the royal palace! Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s first child has arrived. The news came just moments after she was said to be in labor with the baby, who is a boy!

Prince Harry was right next to his wife when she delivered the infant at 7 lbs., 3 oz.

According to NBC, The new father said,

“It was amazing.”

Prince Harry and Markle’s official Instagram page confirmed the news and said,

“We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019. Their Royal Highnesses’ son weighs 7lbs. 3oz. The Duchess and baby are both healthy and well, and the couple thank members of the public for their shared excitement and support during this very special time in their lives. More details will be shared in the forthcoming days.”

The baby is seventh in line as heir to the royal throne. He is after Prince Charles, Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis and Prince Harry. He is also Queen Elizabeth’s eighth great-grandchild.

Markle and Prince Harry were on baby watch after Kensington Palace first announced the pregnancy in October 2018.

“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019. Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public.”

One insider said Prince Harry didn’t take long to step into father mode.

“Harry’s being his usual amazing self around Meghan. He’s keeping an eye on her to ensure she doesn’t overwork because she’s not the best at knowing when to put the brakes on — that’ll be Harry’s job. She feels really great and is enjoying the busy work schedule she has at the moment. He’ll make sure she’s not doing much as they enter the final weeks.”

The baby news came roughly six months after the two married in a royal wedding in May 2018.

The former Suits star went public with her relationship with the royal just before announcing their engagement in November 2017.
