Chris Brown’s ‘Indigo’ Number 1 On Billboard’s 200 Chart, Most-Streamed Album Of The Week
Chris Brown is number 1! His latest project, Indigo, is number 1 on Billboard’s 200 chart. He moved 108,000 units equivalent to album units as of Thursday, July 4 for the 32-tracklist album. Out of that number, 28,000 were actually album sales.
A major part of his success was streaming as he earned 76,000 SEA units, which is 97.95 million on-demand audio streams. Indigo was actually the most-streamed album for the week.
He thanked fans for Indigo’s success.


This is Brown’s third number 1 album. His first was F.A.M.E. in 2011, which had singles like She Ain’t You, Look At Me Now and Deuces.
His second was Fortune, released in 2012. That album had hits like Strip, Turn Up The Music and Don’t Judge Me.
Lil Nas is just behind Brown at number 2. His album 7 brought in 74.8 million on-demand streams with 62,000 equivalent album units.

Chance The Rapper comes in at number five 40,000 equivalent album units for Acid Rap.

Brown’s album got lots of attention last week after the lyrics to his song Need A Stack sparked controversy.
“Only wanna f*** the black b****es with the nice hair”
Despite the controversy, it looks like he was able to bounce back and grab that number 1 spot.
