Tituss Burgess Stands By His Criticism Of Andy Cohen, Tells Wendy Williams: I Will Not Tolerate The Dismantling Of Anyone’s Legacy, Especially Not My Own
Tituss Burgess stands by his comments against Andy Cohen. Burgess made an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show and backed up his criticism against Cohen.
As previously reported, Burgess and Cohen had an awkward moment during Burgess’s appearance on BRAVO’s Watch What Happens Live after Cohen asked Burgess about Eddie Murphy’s previous comments about the LGBTQ community.

Burgess went on to double down on his comments on social media.

Now, Burgess is standing by his comments.
Williams asked about the situation and Burgess said,
“I think that people misinterpret who they see on the screen sometimes and begin to have a relationship towards you based on misinformation.”
Williams then responded with,
“Can you talk normal? What are you saying? Stop being Hollywood. I read your rant and it started with something about queen.”
Titus said,
“Not a rant, just truth. I will not tolerate the dismantling of anyone’s legacy, especially not my own. Who we were speaking about has done a beautiful job being the comedic giant that he is. He has a wonderful movie coming out and I was not going to participate in talking about that.”
He added,
“I said what I said. Tituss will not be trapped. We have way too much work to do, we have far more important things to talk about in this nation right now, especially what is going on politically. I wasn’t going to waste time digging up something that happened a while ago. We’ve all moved past from it and we’ve all learned from it.”
He went on to end the conversation with a little more shade after he and Williams agreed to exchange numbers.
“Done and done. Just don’t give it to you know who!”
Cohen also shared his thoughts on Twitter and hinted he wasn’t trying to be shady.
