An Uzi a day keeps Sallie Mae away? Energetic rapper Lil Uzi Vert recently encountered a fan while walking through a Philadelphia shopping mall, when he made the young man asked for an unusual favor. Instead a photo or autograph, he asked if the “Sanguine Paradise” rapper could pay for his education!
Their conversation went as followed:
“Fan: Yo Uzi! Uzi, what’s good bruh?
Lil Uzi Vert: What’s up, n*gga?
Fan: Can you pay for my college tuition?
Uzi: How much does it cost?
Fan: 90 grand. I go to Temple, bro.
Uzi: 90 grand? I could pay for that!
Fan: I know you can!”
But Lil Uzi Vert didn’t make a blind investment. He pressed to find out if the fan was serious about his studies.
“Uzi: But this is the thing though – if I pay for your college tuition, are you gonna finish college? Or are you gonna bullsh*t?
Fan: Of course! Nah, 100 percent. I don’t bullsh*t, bro. I’ll finish it.
Uzi: What’s your name on Instagram?
Fan: @bigassheel”
“Uzi: Make sure you show me all of your transcripts and everything. Show me all your papers and everything, and you’ll get 90,000 from me. I’m serious.
Fan: Alright, bro!”
