Rihanna To Sign With Sony/ATV Music Publishing + New Album Could Drop At Anytime
Rihanna continues to make major career movies. According to reports, the 31-year-old artist is expected to join Sony/ATV Music Publishing, the world’s largest music publisher. If true, this would reunite her with her longtime publisher, Jon Platt, who is the chairman and CEO of Sony Music.
Jay-Z and Beyonce have worked closely with Platt throughout much of their careers.
Meanwhile, her die-hard fan base, could be closer than they think to hearing new music. She is said to be have been working on two albums for the past couple of years – one a dance hall project and the other a pop/R&B project. Reportedly, one of the projects (if not two) could drop at any time.
In other RiRi news, the singer recently nailed her “Lemon” performance with Pharrell at her Diamond Ball. See a clip of their performance below.
When do you think Rihanna will release her new album? Let us know in the comments.
