“Snowfall” Star Damson Idris Says He Was Rejected By A British Talk Show: “Shout out to the states for recognizing real talent!”
“Snowfall” star – British actor Damson Idris – wants his home country to put some respect on his name. His breakout role as a teenaged drug dealer in Los Angeles has garnered him tons of media attention in the states, with charming appearances on the likes of “Good Morning America” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” But according to him, it seems the United Kingdom doesn’t feel the 28-year-old is ready for primetime television.
Damson told Twitter followers that he was rejected for a British talk show:
“A British show just said I am not ready star wise to be on their show. I really do appreciate all the love and support I receive in the country I was born in. And thank you for the 2020 motivation. Shout out to the states for recognizing real talent.”

Damson Idris clearly feels slighted by the incident. He took to his Instagram Story using the lyrics to Wale‘s song, “Love Me Nina,” as a subliminal message.
