Halle Berry Speaks Out, After Suffering Injury On MMA Movie Set
Halle Berry is recovering just fine after getting injured on the set of MMA film Bruised. She took to social media to thank fans for their support after news of her injury made its rounds earlier this week.
The Oscar-Award winning actress wrote Wednesday (Nov. 20),
“Thank you to all the folks that have showered me with love since my injury. It’s par for the course when you do your own stunts, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Just know I’m far from tired. I’m wide awake…and just getting started!”

The film’s executive producer Brian Pitt said during a chat with NJ advance Media,
“Halle got slightly injured in the fight. She’s tired. She needed a break…nothing serious.”
He also said that it’s nothing out of the ordinary when training for a role of this nature.
“Occasionally what’s going to happen is an actor might get a little injured, and we might adjust scheduling around them a little bit…We have fighters coming in from around the country, and they get injured in other bouts.”
While she suffered an injury, she’s still reaching her fitness goals as her physique gets even better while training. She recently showed off her hard-rock abs on Instagram.

In the film, Halle Berry plays a disgraced MMA fighter whose personal drama puts her in the fight of her life in and out of the ring. The production schedule was put on a brief hold for “precautionary measures” amid Halle Berry’s injuries. The delay was reportedly only for a couple of days.
We’re glad she’s doing okay!
