Kylie Jenner Donates $1 Million To Australia Fire Relief
Kylie Jenner is putting her money where you can see it. The young beauty billionaire received tons of backlash this past week after posting what many thought was a lazy call for awareness regarding the tragic Australian wildfires. Kylie Jenner posted this Instagram Story about the alarming animal death toll in Australia:
“Over half a BILLION animals have been killed in Australia…this breaks my heart…”

Immediately after the post, she shared a photo rocking mink fur Louis Vuitton slippers – which trolls said contradicted her concern for the animals in Australia.

As we previously reported, one social media user even directly challenged the Kardashian/Jenner family for failing to publicize any donations to fire relief efforts. Kim Kardashian didn’t let the comment slide. She said:
“nothing gets me more heated than to see people think they know what we donated to and to think we have to publicize everything”

Well, Kylie Jenner isn’t giving naysayers time to assign that narrative to her name. People exclusively reports that Kylie donated $1 million of her own money to help the people impacted. A source shared:
“That post was completely unintentional. Kylie stands behind her desire to want to help provide relief towards the devastation the fires have caused.”
Are the Kardashians/Jenners entitled to share every humanitarian effort they lend to because of their social media presence? Let us know what you think in the comments.
