Singer Pink Tests Positive For Coronavirus, Vows To Donate $1 Million To Fight Pandemic!
Pink (real name Alecia Moore) has revealed that she and her three-year-old son Jameson had coronavirus symptoms two weeks ago and she tested positive for coronavirus.
The 41-year-old singer recalls showing symptoms of COVID-19 and being fortunate enough to have a primary care physician who had access to testing. After testing positive, Pink and her family were already abiding by quarantine guidelines and continued to shelter at home under doctor’s orders. Thankfully, Pink and Jameson were retested just a few days ago and the results came back negative.
The Popstar plead to the public,
“This illness is serious and real. People need to know that the illness affects the young and old, healthy and unhealthy, rich and poor and we must make testing free and more widely accessible to protect our children, our families, our friends and our communities.”
Pink pledges to donate $1,000,000.00 towards the pandemic; $500,000.00 to the Temple University Hospital Emergency Fund in Philadelphia in honor of her mother, Judy Moore, who worked in the Cardiomyopathy and Heart Transplant Center for 18 years; and $500,000.00 to the City of Los Angeles Mayor’s Emergency COVID-19 Crisis Fund.
Celebrities gathered in the comments to show love to the singer.
