The struggle is real for haircare during quarantine!

Actress Taraji P. Henson, 49, gave fans a much-needed hair tutorial while much of the nation is under a stay-at-home order during the COVID-19 outbreak.

She put up a video on her Instagram and demonstrated how to use her hair product from her natural hair care line, TPH by Taraji.

Taraji P. Henson is seen standing in her bathroom, showing off her hair mask as she details the benefits.

She said:

“I created this mask with curly hair girls in mind because our hair needs a lot of moisture.”

Taraji P. Henson begins to put the product on her hair while it’s divided in sections.

She continued and shared her step-by-step process.

“I start off, scalp is clean and now I’m going to give it some extra love today. I add generously from the root to the tip.”

She says she lets the product sit for about fifteen to twenty minutes.

She came back on camera to show off the power of the mask.

The “Empire” actress explained:

“Every time I use this mask it reminds why I named it real love. It actually gives your hair the love, nourishment and moisture that it needs.”

She’s been giving her natural hair fans lots of tips and ideas on how to handle their hair during quarantine. Just days before her hair mask video, she shared a video on how to achieve a protective style.
