Candace Owens Locked Out Of Her Out Of Her Twitter Account

Candace Owens still isn’t backing down from where she stands regarding the coronavirus, but it appears that one of her recent comments may have gotten her in trouble with Twitter. As we previously reported, American conservative and public speaker Candace Owens has made it known that she isn’t buying what the media is reporting about the coronavirus pandemic. Candace Owens has been using her twitter account to openly express her own personal beliefs regarding the virus:

“I don’t know if I was being fearless or if everyone else was just being a coward but I’m glad to see everyone else wake up to the truth. Media has never been able to bully me into submission. The numbers never made any sense. I just have more of a spine than most.”

However, now the right-wing activist claims Twitter locked her out of her account after she tweeted to Michigan residents telling them to violate the state’s lockdown order. 

On May 1st she tweeted: 

“Apparently [Governor Whitmer] believes she is a duly elected dictator of a socialist country. The people of Michigan need to stand up to her. Go to work. The police think she’s crazy too. They are not going to arrest 10,000,000 people for going to work.” 

Even though the tweet has since been removed by Twitter, Candace Owens has released a statement to the MAGA blog Gateway Pundit doubling down on what she said. 

Many of Candace Owens’s fans and friends have been using the hashtag #FreeCandaceOwens to show their support.

A spokesperson for Twitter has responded and said the tweet was removed because it violated their COVID-19 misinformation policy.
