Diddy Faces Criticism For Inviting Amy Schumer To ‘Emergency Family Meeting’ About Police Brutality
Among his many nicknames, music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs once called himself Brother Love – often highlighting the victories and issues surrounding the Black race on social media and his network, Revolt TV. However, he’s facing criticism for one of his most recent discussions about police brutality on behalf of the culture. Social media has been on fire since the viral footage of Minneapolis police murdering a Black man named George Floyd started circulating.

Diddy called attention to the matter with this tweet, advertising a Revolt Black News special:
“EMERGENCY FAMILY MEETING”

However, fans and followers immediately pushed back at the panel discussions line-up. Diddy’s panel included Jemele Hill, Van Lathan, T.I., Shaun King, and controversially – Caucasian comedienne, Amy Schumer.

Diddy and Amy Schumer are seemingly connected by their outspoken political stances and their statures in the entertainment realm. The comedienne even promoted Diddy’s special on how COVID-19 has affected the African-American community.

Check out a few of social media’s reactions to her place on the panel below.
