Wendy Williams Returns To Social Media Amid Hiatus From Her Talk Show Due To Graves’ Disease
Wendy Williams has returned to social media after taking a break from her talk show due to suffering from Graves’ disease. Wendy Williams announced her return to her media platforms by sharing an Image of herself outside wearing a face mask and holding a copy of the Daily News. She captioned the upload
“Wow June is here! I didn’t see paparazzi but ok. I needed my stuff before NYC dark. Black lives have ALWAYS mattered. #blacklivesmatter #NYPD #Peace #??”
This is the first upload to her Instagram account since May 28th and the first recent image of Wendy Williams since May 16th. As previously reported, Wendy Williams announced on May 18th that she was taking a break from her talk show to deal with her illness.

Since the announcement, the at-home-version of her hit talk show ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ was put on pause. The Instagram account for Wendy Williams was still uploading content however, until 4 days ago when the posting seemed to be placed on pause as well. Wendy Williams first publicly announced that she had Graves’ disease back in 2018 on her show. She also took time off from her hosting duties to focus on her health then too.
