Tinashe Submitted ‘Songs For You’ Album For Grammy Consideration
Tinashe is going for her first Grammy!
The singer took to Twitter to tell fans she submitted her latest album Songs For You to the Grammys. She wrote,
Submitting SFY For Grammys. As an independent album that’s sooo fire.

Tinashe released Songs For You in November 2019, making it her fourth studio album released through her own record label, Tinashe Music Inc. Many of her fans backed her submission on Twitter.

Tinashe became widely known after the 2014 release of her single “2 On” featuring Schoolboy Q. The single reached #1 on the Rhythmic airplay chart and peaked at number 24 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The R&B singer made a major move in November 2019 when she signed with rap mogul, Jay-Z’s, Roc Nation Management.
Tinashe previously spoke on the transition from her previous label and management company to Roc Nation.
“Jay told me that he really really loved my album and thought that it was that should be really proud of myself and I thought that that meant that meant a lot to me.”
