Chance The Rapper & Terry Crews Have Awkward Twitter Exchange Over Political Views, Terry Tells Chance: I Didn’t Endorse You, Bro
Taking a chance on his friend Kanye West has Chance The Rapper getting lots of attention on social media. Monday (July 13th), Chance The Rapper got into a heated Twitter debate with fans and followers over politics. He questioned why Black people would vote for Democratic Presidential candidate Joe Biden over Kanye West, and accused many of his fans of being “racist.”

That debate led to these retweets from controversial actor, Terry Crews.

Chance The Rapper immediately expressed regret for gaining support from Terry Crews, who is currently under fire for his comments on not wanting the #BlackLivesMatter movement to morph into the #BlackLivesBetter movement. Chance said:
“Ok sprinting down the hill now:
I understand the improbability of Ye winning the 46th Presidential seat and I understand that everyone voting for Biden isn’t necessarily doing so enthusiastically. I am for black liberation and do not accent my recent endorsement from Terry Crews”

Terry attempted to clarify that he was only agreed with Chance being under social media scrutiny. He added these off-beat comments about Frederick Douglass:
“I don’t endorse Biden, Trump, Knaye, Chance the Rapper or anyone else- I just agreed with something he said. A broken clock is right twice a day…Frederick Douglass had to resist white abolitonists who were afraid his clarity of speech would harm the movement. They actually encourage him since he was a former slave to “act and talk like a slave” to garner sympathy. He refused.”
