Kandi Burruss Says ‘It Would Suck’ If Nene Leakes Didn’t Return To RHOA Next Season

In a recent interview Kandi Burruss says that she would love for former RHOA star Sheree Whitfield and Nene Leakes to return for the upcoming season.

When asked if she had and details on if either of the ladies would be getting a peach, she replied that she was not sure.

“Honestly, I don’t know, and I don’t know.”

She added that if Sheree were to return it would be fun, but she is still not sure who will be apart of the final cast for next season,

“As far as Nene, I have not talked to Nene either, and I do not know what her plans are. So I don’t know.  Honestly, we’re so early in taping I wouldn’t know whose coming back, whose not. I know that have talked about new people, bringing some new people on.  But I don’t know who those people are yet. It’s too early for me to know, because in the beginning you tape some of your own personal stuff you’re dealing with. Then all of a sudden other things happen because you start having the group scenes, and that’s when you start meeting the other people that are going to be apart. So I don’ know who all is going to be apart.”

Kandi Burruss also adds that it would suck if Nene Leakes decided not to return for Season 13,

“Listen, she and I, we’re like oil and water sometimes, but I definitely would love for her to be back. I definitely feel like she is a major part of this show, I feel like it would suck if she decided not to come back. I feel like why wouldn’t she come back, but I feel like ultimately that is up to her, so we’ll see…. I have not talked to Nene either and I do not know what her plans are, so I don’t know and honestly.”

This isn’t the first time Kandi says that she hasn’t spoken to Nene, after things got heated on the virtual reunion for the Real Housewives of Atlanta.  During the filming of the show, viewers saw Kandi and Nene Leakes ensue in an argument on set, and Nene Leakes closed her computer before finishing filming a segment of the show.

Shortly after the episodes aired, Nene Leakes shared that she felt like she was unfairly treated at the reunion.

Nene Leakes did numerous interviews on her beef with Kandi,

“What damage do I need to control? I didnt do anything, you guys watched the show, I sat there they said what they said I said what I said.  Kandi just wants to be number 1, you know she’s never been number one in anything that she’s done. So coming over here to my house she wants to be number one, this seat is not available yet.  Its’ available when I give it to her she’s, number two.”

When asked when did her and Kandi Burruss begin to be at odds, she explained:

“Kandi and I have never had an issue, we had our little issue years ago, we let it go. So I did this YouTube show, I have a YouTube channel I’m sorry and I spoke on there about a situation that never involved her, I never called her names, imagine looking at a video and saying ‘She’s talking about me.’  So basically thats what she did, she looked at my idea where was no names called and she said ‘ she’s talking about me’ and she just ran with it.”

“Now I did with these girls say that you should do,  if you and that person are cool, why can’t you call them up. So I said sure I’m going to call Kandi up. I sent Kandi some text messages, she started firing back at me in the text messsages. I said Kandi this is not about you, she continued to do it.  I texted her days later, texted her again and told her Kandi its not about you, she continued. So from that I knew she just wanted some smoke with me, she’s been boring for a while now, and so what better way to have somebody to call your name Kandi, is to put in line with Nene Leakes.”
