Megan Thee Stallion Is Headlining Her 1st Live, Virtual Concert
Megan Thee Stallion has been pretty busy lately, and it doesn’t look like she’s slowing down anytime soon.
The Houston native is now gearing up for her very first virtual concert amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The digital show, which will also be live, costs $15 and is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 29th at 6 p.m. EST.
Her concert comes as she’s made history in more ways than one.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Megan Thee Stallion is the first female to top the Rap Songwriters chart, which was created in June 2019.

Megan Thee Stallion responded to the news by saluting her late mother, Holly Thomas.
She wrote on Instagram:
“Wow… I used to watch my mom write songs in her bed every day when she got off work so I started doing it too. I know she’s proud”
On top of that, she also made history with fellow female emcee, Cardi B thanks to their newest mega-hit single “WAP” topping the Billboard charts on Aug. 17.
The song now has the most streams for a song’s opening week in history, the highest sales week for a single in 2020, and is the first female rap collaboration to debut at number one.
Unfortunately, the concert also comes after Megan Thee Stallion was shot in both feet last month.
After weeks of speculation, she identified Tory Lanez as the shooter for the first time on Instagram live.
She has since received love from fellow celebrities like Michael B. Jordan, Halle Berry and Chance The Rapper.
