Netflix Series Writer Ming Peiffer Alleges She & 2 Other Writers Quit Because Of ‘Racist Exploitation & Abuse’
Streaming service giant, Netflix, is making headlines due to strong claims by one of its upcoming show’s writers, Ming Peiffer.
Ming Peiffer, who is Chinese American, took to her Twitter page to alert her followers that she, along with two other writers of color, quit the upcoming series Grand Army, set to air Oct. 16 on Netflix.
She alleged that “racist exploitation and abuse” was the cause of the writers quitting and recalled a time when showrunner and creator, Katie Cappiello allegedly called Netflix HR on a Black writer for getting a haircut. (Read tweets below)

Katie Cappiello has not publicly responded to the show. But Ming Peiffer received lots of comments about her accusations.
