Tyga Sued For More Than $200k By Former Landlord For Failure To Pay Rent & Damages To The Home
Tyga is being sued by his former landlord for allegedly not paying his rent and leaving the place a mess when he left.
Tyga‘s former landlord is accusing the rapper of leaving his old spot that he rented for a year, with $32K in unpaid rent in April.
The landlord is accusing Tyga of putting holes in the kitchen’s white oak floors which costs $27,650, he adds that Tyga damaged marble floors and counters which costs $15,575. He also alleges that Tyga damaged the walls with murals and wallpaper that costs $103,160.25.
Tyga allegedly installed a basketball hoop that damaged the driveway and added new locks that ruined the entry door. All of the additional changes to the house were reportedly unauthorized.
The landlord says that he attempted to have this matter dissolved by mediation in May, but Tyga was allegedly not being agreeable. The landlord is now suing the rapper for breach of contract and is requesting more than $200k in damages.
This isn’t the first time that Tyga was sued by a landlord for failure to pay rent. In 2018 a landlord accused him of not paying rent at a Beverly Hills home he had at the time.
In 2016 a landlord attempted to evict him from the Hollywood Hills house where he had been living as well.
