Letitia Wright Faces Backlash After Sharing Anti-COVID-19 Vaccination Video Online

Letitia Wright seems to be in the hot seat after sharing a controversial vaccine video online. On Thursday, December 3rd, Guyanese-British actress Letitia Wright uploaded a now-deleted video to her Twitter account from the Youtube channel On The Table. In the hour-long video, a man is giving his opinion on why people should not take the COVID-19 vaccination shot.

Following her video post, it wasn’t long until she was trending. Many fans shared via Twitter how they felt Letitia Wright’s tweet was an irresponsible use of her platform and large following.

After receiving backlash the Black Panther actress initially seemed to stand by the video that she shared and tweeted,

“if you don’t conform to popular opinions. but ask questions and think for yourself….you get cancelled”

However, Letitia Wright soon followed up with a tweet to explain why she shared the video in the first place.

“my intention was not to hurt anyone, my ONLY intention of posting the video was it raised my concerns with what the vaccine contains and what we are putting in our bodies. Nothing else.”
