Trey Songz Performed At Indoor Concert W/ More Than 500 People In Attendance, Venue Cited For COVID-19 Violations
Trey Songz didn’t let the COVID-19 pandemic stop him from hitting the stage at an indoor concert with more than 500 people in attendance.
The singer reportedly performed at Aftermath in Columbus, Ohio over the weekend.
His fans who attended were reportedly seen sharing drinks, not social distancing, and many of them, along with staff members, weren’t wearing masks, the Ohio Investigative Unit revealed to NBC.

Ohio has more than 484,000 reported cases of COVID-19, with more than 7,000 deaths as of Monday (Dec. 7th).
Ohio Investigative Unit enforcement commander Eric Wolf said of the event:
“Basically, it was just a concert environment. If you had taken that event and put it in 2019, it would have been pretty much the same concert, same event that was taking place last night.”
The bureau relayed the incident to the Ohio Liquor Control Commission, which has the task of enforcing penalties through fines or potentially suspending the venue’s liquor license.
Trey Songz trended on Twitter Tuesday morning (Dec. 8th) as news of his performance made its rounds.

Trey Songz has not publicly spoken on the event.
