Rihanna Being Sued By Father-Daughter Duo For Allegedly Using Their Music For A ‘Fenty’ Ad Without Permission
According to reports, Rihanna will have her day in court to justify her actions after allegedly ripping off a song that she didn’t have permission to use for a Fenty Instagram ad.
King Kahn and his daughter Saba Lou claim that they created and own the music and lyrics for a song called “Good Habits (and Bad)”, which apparently showed up in Rihanna’s post. After the ad reportedly received 3.4 million views, the father-daughter duo is suing the superstar for damages.
This wouldn’t be the first time that Rihanna and her team were accused of stealing when it comes to her Fenty brand. Selah Marley, daughter of hip hop icon Lauryn Hill and Rohan Marley, accused Rihanna of stealing her creative concept for her Savage x Fenty fashion show.

She took time to explain her point of view and how she felt she had been ‘robbed’ of her idea, writing,
Quite a few friends brought this up to me & I wasn’t gonna say anything about this, but I’m bothered. For those who remember, I did ‘A Primordial Place’ in May 2019.. I put my heart & soul (& all the money I had) into this project and…. I don’t know. Is it just me?
As a young independent, female black artist, I genuinely feel robbed. I’m not signed to any label.. I don’t have any investors. I just have myself & the people who support me. It took A LOT to pull this together & to see it replicated almost exactly with no mention of my name or the work I previously put in is just ridiculous.
