4 Dead, 52 Arrested After Donald Trump Supporters Storm Capitol
Four people have died and dozens are in custody after countless Donald Trump supporters took over the Capitol in protest of Congress declaring he lost the election Wednesday, Jan. 6th.
What began as a protest to President-Elect Joe Biden’s victory ended with thousands of people storming the Capitol.

The event left 4 people dead, 52 arrested, and at least 14 police officers Metropolitan Police Department Officers injured. The four who lost their lives include a woman who U.S. Capitol Police fatally shot, two men, and one woman who D.C. Police Chief Robert Contee died of “separate medical emergencies.”
The FBI also started an investigation, asking for help to find those who instigated violent activities.
D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser announced a state of emergency that she later extended to 15 days.
“so that we can continue to ensure peace and security through the inauguration of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.”

She continued,
“Today may be a dark day for our democracy, but there is hope and change coming.”
