‘Saved By The Bell’ Star Dustin Diamond Dies Of Cancer At 44 [CONDOLENCES]
Dustin Diamond, known for his role as Screech in the hit series Saved By The Bell, has passed away.
An insider confirmed to TMZ that he died Monday morning (Feb. 1st) just after finishing his first round of chemotherapy. He was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer last month.
Before news of his passing, it was reported that he only had a short time to live.
His friend Dan Block told The Sun,
“We do not have any specific timelines, but we know that Dustin needs a miracle to overcome the small cell carcinoma he’s been diagnosed with.”
He continued,
“He was told weeks to 5 months is the average but a small percentage of people have lived one to two years with it being stage 4. We are hoping that he is one of the people to outlive the odds and that we get as much time with him as possible.

Dustin Diamond was first in a Florida hospital after suffering pain throughout his body. It was later determined to be cancer.
After starring in Saved By The Bell, he went on to appear in reality shows “Celebrity Boxing 2” and “Celebrity Fit Club”.
Prayers for Dustin Diamond’s family, friends, and loved ones.
