Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City Star Mary Cosby’s Husband Lashes Out At ‘Grandfather F***er’ Comments: It’s Very Offensive

While Mary Cosby of Bravos’ The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is usually the one defending her relationship with her late grandmother’s husband, Robert Cosby, Sr., he is now speaking out against criticism they’ve received.

The Cosbys’ relationship has been in the spotlight since joining the Bravo reality show, getting lots of backlash from fans after Mary Cosby explained that Robert Cosby, Sr. was first married to her grandmother. Once her grandmother passed, Mary Cosby and Robert Cosby, Sr. married, allegedly at her grandmother’s request, so that her church and fortune would stay in the family.

Robert Cosby stopped by the RHOSLC reunion Wednesday night (Feb. 24th) and shared his thoughts on remarks he and his wife have received and co-star Jen Shah’s “grandfather

“This granddaddy junk is stupid. I was 22 years old when I married [Mary’s grandmother], now whose granddaddy was I? I wasn’t even anybody’s daddy yet. I don’t like that. I don’t like that at all.”

He said of Jen Shah’s comment:

“That’s very offensive, for someone to say that, that’s hurtful. But I’m used to it. I don’t like people messing with my wife.”

He and Mary Cosby have been married for more than 20 years and share son, Robert Cosby, Jr. 

Robert Cosby concluded;

“Mary is a great mother and a great wife. I love her.”
