Bravo Confirms Motivational Speaker Bershan Shaw Will Appear On Upcoming Season of ‘RHONY’

“The Real Housewives Of New York City” is adding another new face to its 13th season.

As previously reported, State of the Culture co-host Eboni K. Williams is joining the show, making her the first black cast member on the long-running Bravo series.

She said in a statement,

“NYC is filled with successful and dynamic Black women. I’m excited to join this legendary franchise as the first Black housewife. Can’t wait to share a slice of life in this city that hasn’t been seen before. Anyone who’s aware of my work knows I don’t hold back. I’m going to keep it just as real here as I do everywhere else.”

Now, Bravo has confirmed to E! that motivational speaker Bershan Shaw will also be appearing in the upcoming season.

She’s a motivational speaker who has beat cancer twice and has reportedly rubbed elbows with celebrities like Kris Jenner, Robin Roberts, and Hillary Clinton. 

Bershan Shaw said in a statement,

“I’m thankful to be a part of the Bravo team and I’m thrilled about the diversity and inclusion this season brings. I am a warrior for all people and so are the ladies.”

She has already started filming with the cast.

The Real Housewives franchise previously tapped Garcelle Beauvais as the first black cast member of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
