LeBron James – Police Officer Who Mocked NBA Star In TikTok Video Has Been Fired
Nate Silvester, the Idaho officer who mocked LeBron James for a post he made about the policeman who fatally shot Ma’Khia Bryant, has officially been fired.
LeBron James sparked controversy when he shared a photo of Nicholas Reardon, the officer who shot Ma’Khia Bryant, hours after former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin was convicted for George Floyd’s murder.
LeBron James captioned the photo, “You’re Next #Accountability.”

As previously reported, police were dispatched to Ma’Khia Bryant’s home after she called for assistance to help deescalate a potential physical altercation among a group of girls at her residence. After receiving criticism, LeBron James later tweeted that he “fueled the wrong conversation.”

Following the release of the photo and caption, former deputy marshal Nate Silvester posted a TikTok video mocking the basketball star.
In the viral clip, Nate Silvester said,
“So you don’t care if a black person kills another black person, but you care if a white cop kills a black person, even if he’s doing it to save the life of another black person?”
He went on to say,
“I mean it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, but then again you are really good at basketball so I guess I’ll take your word for it…”

In an interview with Sean Hannity from Fox News, Silvester claims he’s, “the latest target of cancel culture.”
“None of my other videos that depicted me in my uniform or involving body camera footage, none of those mattered. they didn’t care about those. It wasn’t until my LeBron James TikTok struck a political nerve that they started to pay attention and complain about it and came up with forms of discipline”.
Nate Silvester was released from his duties on Thursday [May 27th] for what Bellevue mayor called, “continued policy violations” after he was given a “last chance agreement” from his superiors.
The city of Bellevue released the following statement:
“He was not terminated for the content of his speech; he was terminated for his failure to follow clearly laid out and well established policy.”
Meanwhile, Silvester has landed a book deal with Di Angelo Publications and is planning to release a project with the working title “Never Off Duty.”
He vowed to donate part of his proceeds to a GoFundMe that has raised almost half a million dollars to the First Responders Children’s Foundation.
