Tiffany Haddish Says She Was ‘Intimidated’ By Nicholas Cage On Set Of Upcoming Film Because She Had 1st Orgasm To One Of His Movies

Tiffany Haddish is currently shooting a film alongside Nicholas Cage, but the experience has brought up memories that caused some awkwardness!

While recently speaking on NPR, Tiffany Haddish revealed working on the set of The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent was more intimidating than expected. Specifically, she revealed the awkwardness was caused by working with Nicholas Cage–and that the reason was “inappropriate.”

It turns out that–while watching a screening of his 1997 Face/Off film in a nearly-empty theatre–Tiffany Haddish experienced her first orgasm, and this caused her to initially feel strange about working with him!

She said:

“Is this a story I should tell? This might be inappropriate. You could tell [Nicholas Cage] was getting irritated [at how I was acting around him] and I was like, ‘Look, I’m really intimidated by you and I need to tell you something–I have to tell you this story, man, and once I tell you this story it’ll be fine.'”

She continued:

“As I was achieving a momentous moment that I had never experienced in my life, I open my eyes, and the eyes of Nicolas Cage are looking into my eyes super big. And, so, that was my first big O. So now I’m standing across from this man with those same big old eyeballs. All I can think about is the guy that I went to the movies with and how we were making out and then that feeling, and then how weird I feel remembering this in front of him.”

After telling Nicholas Cage her story, Tiffany Haddish revealed he found the account hilarious. She recalled:

“[He] laughed super hard.”

The film they’re shooting–The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent–is set to premiere in April 2022.
