LeBron James Becomes First Billionaire In NBA While Still Playing In League
LeBron James has clearly been in his bag lately and it has paid off! According to reports, the well-known Lakers superstar is officially the first professional basketball player to become a billionaire while still playing in the league. Sources allege that LeBron James passed the $1 billion mark by reportedly bringing in $700 million in earnings off the court and $330 million in salary as an NBA player.

LeBron James is more than just an athlete and there is a lot that has contributed to his financial success. He stars in the recently released “Space Jam: A New Legacy” film, which beat Marvel’s “Black Widow” in the box office department during its opening weekend.
LeBron James has inked countless sponsorship and endorsement deals throughout his career, such as deals with Nike and Blaze Pizza.
Another one of his business ventures is the media company, ??SpringHill Company, that he owns with his longtime business partner, Maverick Carter. In addition to that, LeBron James also had a small stake in the English Premier League club Liverpool F.C. for several years before he ultimately turned that in for a larger role with more teams operated by FSG.
