Tory Lanez Claims His NFT Album Sold 1 Million Copies In 57 Seconds
According to Tory Lanez, his first NFT album went platinum in less than one minute.
As previously reported, Tory Lanez, born Daystar Peterson, teamed up with upcoming streaming service Emmersive Entertainment to exclusively release 1 million copies of his latest album, WHEN IT’S DARK. The project is an NFT album that dropped on Aug. 10. It features seven songs and a seven art piece collection that are streaming exclusively via the E-NFT platform and app.

Tory Lanez, 29, shared on his Instagram page his reaction when he learned that the project sold out of its 1 million copies in just 57 seconds. He captioned the post,
“1 million copies sold in 57 seconds. Revolutionary….. historical … innovative & a huge success. #WhenItsDark E-NFT sold the f*ck out !!!! #lomo thank u …. #emmersive .. thank u !! #vinco thank you !!!… I’m at a lost for words !!! I’ve never sold this much music so fast !!! I guess when u cut the bullsh*t of the middle man, u become king !!!”

The Emmersive Entertainment app is expected to launch on both Apple and Android platforms soon.
