Lizzo & Cardi B’s ‘Rumors’ Debuts At #1 On Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart
“Rumors” is currently leading the R&B/Hip-Hop chart!
Earlier this month, Lizzo and Cardi B‘s collaborative track, “Rumors,” was released to the world. Since then, many have grown to love the song–and the charts prove it! The track just made its debut on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, and is the #1 song! Notably, “Rumors” took the #1 spot from Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow‘s “Industry Baby,” which had occupied the top spot for three weeks in a row.
“Rumors” is Lizzo‘s third #1 hit in the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs category. Lizzo‘s first song to top the chart was “Truth Hurts.” The song, which was initially released in 2017 and rose to prominence in 2019, is known as Lizzo‘s breakout hit. The song was #1 for 11 weeks and was followed by another hit, “Good as Hell.”
As for Cardi B, “Rumors” is her seventh #1 track. Cardi B debuted at #1 with her breakout single, “Bodak Yellow.” Later, she followed this success with other chart-toppers like “Finesse,” “I Like It,” “Please Me,” “WAP,” and “Up.”
Regarding how “Rumors” is doing on the Radio Songs chart, which looks at all musical genres, it is currently at the #21 spot. The Radio Songs chart is currently being led by Olivia Rodrigo‘s “Good 4 U.”
