Famous Dex Sentenced To One Year In Prison For Domestic Violence & Gub Charges

Famous Dex, who spent his 28th birthday in a Van Nuys prison, has reportedly been sentenced to one year in prison due to domestic violence and gun charges.
Dex, real name, Dexter Tiewon Gore, Jr., is best known for his songs ‘Pick It Up’ and ‘Japan.’
The rapper has notebly been in and out of trouble for the last year. After posting videos on social media of alleged heavy drug use, fans and followers flooded his comments with concerns for his health and safety.
The Chicago star reportedly checked himself into a rehabilitation center in December 2021 but checked out after only spending one month attemtping to get clean.

However, as previously reported, Famous Dex claimed he had quit lean and Xanax.
Back in November of last year, officers were called to the scene of a domestic violence disturbance at Dex’s home. It was reported that a woman with visible injuries was discovered leading to a standoff with Famous Dex and the police, to which he reportedly barricaded himself in his home with a firearm.
In March 2021, he was arrested for 19 different domestic charges in relation to his previous and current arrest including domestic violence, weapon possession, dissuadign a victim from reporting a crime, threatening a domestic partner, exhibiting a firearm, infliciting bodily injury, and defacing property.
Dex, who is a father of three, was reportedly sentenced to one year without bail on the first of September, however, despite the sentence, he still may get out before 2022. According to his record, he may be released on November 24, 2021.
