Eminem Surprises Guests At The Grand Opening Of His New Restaurant, Mom’s Spaghetti

Could you imagine ordering food only to hear ‘Hi, my name is Slim Shady?”

Well, that’s the surprise many fans received when they attended the grand opening of Eminem’s new restaurant, Mom’s Spaghetti, on Wednesday, September 29th, 2021 in downtown Detriot.

The Stan rapper’s new establishment, Mom’s Spaghetti, is named after a line from his 2002 hit song, Lose Yourself, in which he raps,

“His palms are sweaty/ knees weak/ arms are heavy/There’s vomit on his sweater already/mom’s spaghetti.” 

Although he was wearing a hat and hoodies, fans reportedly quickly noticed Eminem, born Marshall Mathers III, handing out orders like pasta and meatballs and their signature dish, the ‘Sgetti Sandwich, and immediately began snapping photos.

In addition to joining the restaurant business, Eminem is also joining the cast of ‘Black Mafia Family’ produced by his friend and former artist Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson.

Eminem is set to portray ‘White Boy Rick,’ an FBI Informant, who worked closely with local gangs while selling drugs and weapons. The role “White Boy Rick” will be the rapper’s first role in almost 20 years since 8 MILE. On his role, 50 Cent said,

“I’m honored and appreciative of my good friend Em for supporting my new show ‘BMF’. We couldn’t do a show based in Detroit without incorporating the legend that is Eminem.”

BMF, which premiered this past Sunday(9/26) on Starz, follows Detriot brothers Demetrius “Big Meech” and Terry Flenory and their multi-state drug and money laundering organization.
