Lil Baby Reportedly Spends Thousands On Saweetie During Shopping Spree Date In NYC

It may be time to prepare a celebrity couple name for rap stars Saweetie and Lil Baby!

Hollywood Unlocked recently reported that the pair were spotted together in NYC. According to the media outlet, 26-year-old Lil Baby, born Dominique Jones, took 28-year-old Saweetie, born Diamonté Harper, on a shopping spree at a New York-based Chanel store. Reportedly, Lil Baby dropped nearly $100K on Saweetie during their date. There is also allegedly security footage from the Chanel store of the rappers’ time together.

It’s no surprise that their alleged date occurred in NYC. Saweetie was recently in the city for her debut SNL musical performance and it seems that she then stuck around so she could perform at Powerhouse in New Jersey, which took place this past weekend. Lil Baby was also in attendance at Powerhouse and hit the stage as well.

It’s unclear if Saweetie and Lil Baby are officially a couple or not. However, if they are, they seem to be trying to keep things on the low and currently are not following each other on Instagram.

As previously reported, Saweetie was once romantically linked to Migos rapper Quavo, 30, and they dated for over 2 years. However, this past March they decided to call things off and go their separate ways. Saweetie recently shared in an interview that she’s ready to be a mom and have a child. She said,

“I want a baby.”

She continued,

“I’m just ready. I’m getting older, you know. I don’t hide my age like, I’m getting older and I want a baby.”

She added,

“Let’s be real. I want to pop that sh*t out and I’m gonna snap back.”

Lil Baby has been in an off-again-on-again relationship with the mother of his child/media influencer Jayda Cheaves, 24, for years. Their most recent breakup occurred in February of this year.
