Tristan Thompson Will Pay $120,000 In Monthly Child Support To All Three Mothers Of His Children
Good thing Tristan Thompson is still securing those NBA checks.
Reportedly, Indiana Pacers big man Tristan Thompson will give up $40,000 to each of his children’s mothers as part of monthly child support payments.
After reluctantly welcoming third child with fitness model Maralee Nichols, it was speculated that basketball player Tristan Thompson could potentially be required to shell out $40,000 in monthly child support to the new mother. Recent reports suggest that number is likely true.
According to family lawyer Bryan Konoski:
“With his base salary, his take home is probably about half, so let’s say $5 million. Now reduce that by $1.5 million. Paying $40,000 per child per month, that is $1.5million annually in child support.”
He continues:
“If he is paying $40,000 to Marlee and Jordan he is doing the same for Khloe. He wouldn’t have been able to get it reduced because she is worth more.”
A year after going public with Khloe Kardashian and welcoming daughter True Thompson back in 2018, the mother of Tristan’s first child, Prince Thompson, took the NBA star to court for back child support and a higher amount in monthly assistance. The court reportedly awarded Jordan Craig the back child support she requested for their then 2 year old son, and ordered Tristan to pay up $40,000 monthly so that their son could live a life equal to that of his new daughter True – setting the bar for Tristan’s most recent child support debacle.
Reports also suggest that Tristan will be required to pay up child support for all three children until the time they reach 18 years of age.
