Russell Wilson spends an astonishing amount of money to stay in shape.
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson admitted that he spends a whopping $1 million a year on his body. The Super Bowl champion sat down for an interview alongside his wife, Crunk&B princess Ciara. When asked if the rumors about his sizeable investment were true, the football star answered:
“Yeah, it’s a process. It’s a lifestyle. I think when you are trying to play as long as I’m trying to play. I’m trying to play until I’m 45.”
Of his 12-year goal, Wilson added:
“Yeah for me the mentality, the focus level, everything you have to do has to be surrounded by that. It’s been an amazing journey for me so far.”
Ciara, who mentioned that she was just as competitive as her athletic husband, has been public about her weight loss journey. In 2021, the mother of 3 joined Weight Watchers after giving birth to a baby boy the previous year. The “And I” singer announced that her goal was to shed 48 lbs. and return to her pre-baby body. By June 2021, She lost 39 lbs.
